Land you have identified for building 25 houses in Pages Lane Bexhill falls within a flood risk area. We have seen Westcourt drive flood to extremely high levels in the last 3 years, our garden now floods. 25 houses is alot to squeeze into that little grass area and will add to the surface run off into the drains-adding to the flood water!!! How is Rother able to consider building in a high risk flood area? When looking at land searches for buying property, Pages Lane comes under a high risk flood area, if this goes ahead, it may cause further flood damage to local properties-would we be able to claim compensation from Rother for allowing building in high flood risk area? I will begin taking photos and documenting what is happening currently.
