If the water companies can meet the increased demand for water, why were we sent an email last year saying:
I am writing to personally apologise for the drinking water supply shortages in Kent and Sussex, and to provide an update on the situation...introducing a Temporary Use Ban – more commonly known as a ‘hosepipe ban’ – to protect the water supply for all our customers in Kent and Sussex.
Doesn't sound like they have capacity in the system for the current demand so it's unlikely they'll cope with increased demand
