Rother Local Plan 2020-2040 (Regulation 18)

Representation ID: 25235

Received: 11/07/2024

Respondent: Miss Laura Flanigan

Representation Summary:

Schools are currently beginning to follow the government guidelines of sustainability teaching, which will be compulsory.
By destroying green space, cutting trees down and removing vital hedgerow is not sustainable for a small town.
Many trees and hedges were removed for three large developments (Blackfriars, Lily bank and one by claverham) this isn’t sustainable when many of these homes remain empty and unsold.
This is in green belt not brown. Protect the nature for our future and to support the carbon detriment we have.
