If you are truly committed to green issues, why is the limit set at 10 houses? A smaller development of say 6 could actually produce more emissions than the 10 as they do not have to match this criteria. Given that space in villages is at a premium, unless you wholesale use green field sites (as much of the already proposed development in Robertsbridge is), smaller developments are more likely.

The proposed Spatial Development Strategy provides a helpful approach for the implementation of the plan, notably the vision for Rye and the Eastern Settlements and for Hastings and Radial Settlements. This strategy invites consideration of the adequacy of community representation. The village of Icklesham is identified within the ambit of Hastings, while Winchelsea, Winchelsea Beach and Rye Harbour are identified with Rye (and Rye Harbour is recognised as contiguous in some respects with Rye). Yet Icklesham Parish Council covers these four separate and distinct settlements which are also spread over three council wards.
