The Draft Local Plan has set the picturesque and historical village of Catsfield an unrealistic housing target which will have an adverse impact on the rural character of Catsfield. How are the housing targets for settlements arrived at? Some villages have nil housing expectations and some have ridiculously high targets which will result in their urbanisation and the loss of well-being in the community.

This should be corrected to preface with "Until now, Rother HAS benefited from some of the most beautiful countryside..."
This plan green-lights a huge amount of AONB and greenfield development so it is more appropriate to acknowledge that this statement is out of date.
