So Rother has below national average young people and above national average 65+
So why does the plan focus entirely on family home plots and not subdivision of existing housing stock (e.g. a detached house into 2 semi-detached or 2 flats)?

we have alot of older people. They dont have anywhere to downsize into - even if they wished to, which would free up many of the bigger properties that the developers appear to be only building as the profits are higher. We also need smaller places - to rent and to buy, to keep our young people in the area - they are the ones who will be our future, and if they are priced out of the area, or unable to find property, because everyone wants the 1-2 bed properties - then our villages and towns will die
