Representation Summary:

I have studied the comprehensive note prepared Mr Geoffrey Lawson, a member of the SPINDAG Committee, published on RDC's web site with regards ecology and the Pevensey Levels

It is absolutely clear that the information provided by the Applicant to mitigate any potential adverse effects on the Pevensey Levels (RAMSAR/SSSI/SAC) via water borne pollution will not work and will fail very quickly.

Such a situation would be a breach of the Habitats Regulations and a contravention of the People over Wind Court of Justice European Union (CJEU) judgement established quite recently in Ireland.

I am objecting to this aspect of the development proposal as there should never be any development on a site so close to a RAMSAR wetlands region that could adversely affect that Special Area of Conservation.
