Representation Summary:

Bexhill is stated to be "pleasant residential areas interspersed with substantial areas of parkland and open space". As can be seen from the Policies Map Inset Map 1c (p.173): Bexhill Central, the areas of green open space are largely concentrated to the west of the town centre. Therefore the inclusion of the only green open space, marked BEX5, to the east of the town centre should not be considered for any residential development.

BEX5 policy does not satisfy the need to retain sites of:
Social or economic value
Maintain landscaping character
Bio diversity and green space
Sustainable drainage
help with mitigating environmental pollution
