Whilst this may be a County Council area, Rother District should be consulting with the Social Services, given the large number of older people in the district. There is also a need for new, larger houses to have kitchens that can be accessible from more than one room or an annex with shared facilities so older people can be looked after by the yonger members of the family i.e. inter-generational needs now need to be acknowledged. There is also a need for new, larger houses to have kitchens that can be accessible from more than one room or an annex with shared facilities so older people can be looked after by the yonger members of the family i.e. inter-generational needs now need to be acknowledged.
