Consideration needs to be given to the links to other urban areas e.g. Battle to Hastings.
Regional routes of National Cycle Network need to be developed, both west to east and north to south.
Every opportunity to provide shared use routes need to be developed, particularly connecting footpaths to shared use paths.
Cycle parking needs to be increased but at places of interest and activity e.g. Market Square, Battle Abbey, Sports Centre, schools and doctors etc. Cycle parking is useful only in the places where the cyclist can be, bikes not "tucked away" e.g. Mount Street Car Park.
