Representation Summary:

Rother DC should have a plan that covers a minimum of 20yr period as does the SE Plan.
It is inappropriate for the Core Strategy to cover a period upto 2028. By the time the plan is adopted the CS will bearly cover a 15 year period.

Whilst the strategy plan will appear to have a lot of effort put into it, as it stands it will be a disaster if implemented and I would like to see the Secretary of State to call to have a public inquiry.

Population growth should not mean investors I should not make money out of buying agricultural land. The local council should create a land community trust and transfer to the trust as mentioned above.

With mass unemployment and national finances out of control there is a need for a new way to plan quality of life. People are moving around the world expecting to find something better, but they won't without some different way of thinking, do we need continued growth. You have mentioned a local housing trust. There are no details on how this should work, but I would like to see something similar to my Community Land Trust vision. Whilst the strategy plan will appear to have a lot of effort put into it, as it stands it will be a disaster if implemented and I would like to see the Secretary of State to call to have a public inquiry.

The scope for local decision-making is immense and needs support if it is to be purposeful and contribute to improved social cohesion. These gains are in addition to the steps which would be taken to improve economic opportunities as well as improve access to adequate housing within an attractive environment.

Population growth should not mean investors make money out of buying agricultural or development land. The council should create a Land Community Trust and transfer development land to the trust as above.
