Representation Summary:

The strategic accessibility priorities, as set out, fully accord with those of the Task Force and we therefore support them.

In regard to the Glyne Gap and Wilting Station proposals referred to in (a)(viii), we would like to work further with RDC and others and, provided feasibility can be demonstrated, to see how they can be developed into deliverable schemes.

Respondent: Guestling Parish Council

Representation Summary:

Preferred strategy is good, subject to the following reservation;
Link Road and Baldslow Junction. There is concern that there may be an increase particularly of inappropriate traffic in the lanes caused by traffic to or from the A259 to the east either via the A28 or the Ridge. What plans are in place to manage the traffic at this point and how it is proposed to ensure that through traffic remains on the "A" or "B" class roads and do not leach out into the lanes.
