The Preferred Option for Water Policy and Waste Water
Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) can not only reduce the amount of peak run off, but also have benefits to water quality, and amenity/biodiversity, and should be encouraged in the core strategy as a potential solution in reducing pollution loads to sensitive environmental receptors and aid groundwater recharge.

12.36 Presumption here that development takes place. In the absence of development how will RDC finance water targets?
