It is good to see the flexibility in the percentage figures of proposed affordable tenures. This, to a certain degree, will allows for market fluctuation and specific micro markets in certain areas

The need to promote a mix of units across the District is supported in principle, however, the exact mix of units should be informed by an up-to-date Housing Market Assessment and/or Local Housing Needs Survey rather than a stringent requirement set out in an inflexible policy. In this regard, it is not considered necessary to include (a) as a means of achieving housing mix but rather rely on (b) which is more dynamic and responsive to changes in the market.
