North East Bexhill Masterplan

Representation ID: 19030

Received: 30/07/2007

Respondent: Mr. J. Weedon

Representation Summary:

Paragraph 2.25 "Buckholt Lane is an attractive lane that predominately serves a footway and bridleway." This is incorrect. Buckholt Lane is a Byway open to all traffic, from Glovers Lane to Actons Farm, where it becomes a bridleway.

North East Bexhill Masterplan

Representation ID: 19050

Received: 26/07/2007

Respondent: ATLAS

Representation Summary:

The Masterplan is a policy document setting out development principles that form the basis for subsequent 'Masterplan' produced by plot developers. The term 'Masterplan' as applied is therefore misleading and would more appropriately entitled 'SPD for NE Bexhill'.

The SPD should take opportunity to market the site to the development world as a new benchmark for all future developments in Bexhill that provides premier business facilities and residences which employ the latest technologies in energy efficient design and renewable energy use - all with minimal impact on the local strategic road network. Plans, graphics and presentation should be 'worked up'.

North East Bexhill Masterplan

Representation ID: 19073

Received: 07/08/2007

Respondent: Heritage England

Representation Summary:

Concern that paragraph. 2.17 might be taken as somewhat dismissive of the potential archaeological remains. The advice of the county archaeologist, or your own advisor should be sought on the extent to which pre-determination investigation is required having regard to PPG16 and paragraph. 5.25 of the adopted Local Plan.
